Le Marghe Le Marghe

Grapes: Pinot Noir (100%).

Vinification: the grapes are hand harvested and then gently pressed with no addition of sulphur dioxide. After being clarified and filtered, the must is inoculated with wild yeasts and fermented at controlled temperature. Shortly before the end of fermentation, the wine is racked, completes its alcoholic fermentation and is left in contact with its fine lees until second fermentation takes place in a sealed tank.

Bottling: after being gently clarified, the wine is filtered, sterile bottled, and made ready for sale.

Tasting notes: pale straw yellow colour; the bouquet is reminiscent of ripe apples, white flowers and hay; its taste is well-orchestrated, persistent, with subtle hints of hazelnut. Excellent as an aperitif, this wine can be paired with appetizers and tempura vegetables as well as with summer fish or meat dishes.
